Sardonic is an adjective and from my research means the following:
- To speak scornfully or be cynically sceptical about a subject
- To express truths or opinions by clever and disdainful mocking
- To be critically truthful without intended humour

Sardonicism is a the frequent use of sardonic speech
If someone says you are sardonic they suggest a "dry" cynical wit
A sardonic sense of humour is measured, deliberate and often acerbic
