I wish I could say what I feel

and realise what I should do
and how I should love you,
for my love hasn't died;
it's hiding away
like a harboured ship in a storm,
waiting to be called to depths of friendship.
I want to help
but I don't know how.
I want you home
but you can't come out.
I want to see you,
tell how I feel
but you wouldn't believe me.
