SHELL IN A BOX

There was life there

and you took it away.
Warmth;
but you cooled it.
I had feelings and you numbed them,
emotions 'till you slit my faith and bled them dry.
I've died;
wiped out inside,
a shell in a box of loneliness
waiting to be crushed by separation.
Help me.
Love me.
Don't leave me here when we can walk together.
Don't reject me,
as I long to return.
