Groomers

It has been announced by the UK Prime Minister and his side-kick, Rachel Reeves, that there will be further investigation into "grooming" gangs (who thus far have been almost exclusively men of Asian descent) following the recent Casey report on them and individuals who have plagued the UK for at least 20 years, often using the same methods, leading to the same results: Young girls, mainly white, abused and tortured for years, with apparent indifference and prejudice (some say Collusion) from police (certainly), social services and child care homes. The girls were and are still being written-off as (just) "run-aways", child prostitutes or general miscreants, even though some complained to many authorities charged with their care and protection. Having acknowledged an earlier preoccupation with "ethnic sensitivities" the National Crime Agency are now seeking to reiterate that laws always trump anyone, for they are now proactively targeting reported grooming gangs with no regard to accusations of racial bias.

Some grooming gangs and individuals have been successfully prosecuted and jailed, but only after the agitations and protests of a noble few police and social care workers, though the national press are now all over this, with an eye to sales no doubt.

Here I present cases that are notorious or at least made it to public attention.

What is about Rochdale and it's pussyfoot policing that nothing seems to change there, for once again yet another "gang" of Asian looking men (that's all "we" are allowed to say) have been found guilty of grooming, raping and "passing around" exclusively white girls, having organised themselves into a formal grouping to do such things. These bastards should be fully exposed to investigation from day one of any complaint, as such complaints are routinely discovered to be the truth from girls brave enough to complaint about their appalling and degrading treatment. Their prison time should be as cruel to them as they were to their many victims.

I'd like to think that these scum have real hard times in prison after their organised and systematic abuse of girls as young as 11

 = & =

This grooming gang, again from Rochdale, were convicted and sentenced to may decades in prison. From top to bottom, reading right, this crew were lead by "boss man" Mohammed Zahid, Mohammed Shahzad, Mushtag Ahmed, Kasie Basir, Nisar Hussain, Roheez Khan and Naheem Akram.

How proud their extended families must be of them!

= & =

I hear paedophiles in prison are dead men (and women!) walking and hope these Scottish scumbag paedo smackheads get what they rightfully deserve in prison; raping children still in nappies is beyond redemption, yet they have been given permission to appeal their convictions, at "our" expense.

= & =

After Brexit they have no right to stay in the UK

Here's a pair of Romanian criminals, Sexually exploiting women in the UK. Following Brexit they have no absolute right to stay here, but did we ask them to go "home"? What do you think? If you see them in back in Doncaster, remind them that Romania is a better place to live now.

= & =

Sickening Dean Fieldsend and Stephen Sweeting (of Hull and Bubwith )

In my new world these two would now be hung. Fieldsend for his 3rd guilty verdict, who has proved himself to be an irredeemable paedophile in his pursuit of children (18 months - 9 years), whilst Sweeting has a record of sexual offences against children going back to 1968. If you happen to meet either of these vile people they should be reminded of their crimes.

= & =

Child rapists Mark and Robert Evans - more perverts from Rotherham

The two brothers above are going to have a real hard time in prison (I hope), having been sentenced to 17 and 14 years for grooming, then raping, girls as young as 13.

= & =

Ashley Darbyshire from Bolton

Here we have another to have a very hard time in prison, as he is rightly reviled as a rapist of children whom he groomed in Bolton.

= & =

David Brennan of Hull - A user of 12-year olds!

Another piece of shit  from Hull who will be getting 20 years of hard times.

= & =

Connor Laud from Hull loves abusing kids

Yet another monster from Hull, this one rapes children to satisfy his sadistic perversions. Let's hope his time in prison denies him future use of his "equipment".

= & =

Graham Hart loves kids!

Yet another one goes to prison for 17 years to endure a very hard time, hopefully, for being a destroyer of innocence.

Word of the day - LUMMOX

The word today is Lummox

Lummox is a noun and means the following:

-  A clumsy or stupid person

- A fat or ungainly awkward bungler

Lummox is still in use, becoming less so because of "PC" sensibility
To be called a lummox can be an insult or a term of endearment
"You're a right lummox" = you are and idiot (or worse)
"My my, you're a bit of a lummox today" =  you're being a bit stupid

Facebook

Though I have access to Facebook I do not have an ID, nor do I contribute to it, but occasionally I come across something that resonates as a truism with me.

Start with this pithy comment about life's expectations.

Talking of expectations, try this one. To some my comment would be, "work is not as bad as this really - I'm joking - it really is!

Sexism is rife we are told, but with her tongue firmly in her cheek, it can be entertaining

The joy of dance - Northern Soul still lives.

In the late 1960s there evolved an almost mythical dance scene that worshipped the 4-on-the-floor rhythm of predominantly rare musical tracks from black American artists. From across the Atlantic ocean British disc-jockeys (DJs) brought said music to an ever-growing fanbase tightly focussed on a few dance clubs; the most famous being the Wigan Casino which catered for loyal, knowledgeable, free-styling dancers drawn principally from English northern towns.  Northern Soul was their "scene" and they were working-class, legendary in their own circles and to this day loyal to the fundamental and undying joy and camaraderie of that original scene, fuelled by the music that typifies it.

In modern parlance the scene was underground, tightly-focused and user-driven. Those who knew, "knew" and those that did, "did" and those who danced literally all night, did so with energy fuelled by the joy in dancing with freedom, showmanship and flair, and often a few stimulants to be honest (excluding any form of alcohol). The multi-racial club(s) focussed only on the music that drove a style of dance that remains as unique as it was original, with spontaneity and much athleticism, especially amongst males. Upright dancing with impressive footwork and impromptu spins and flourishes are norms of the traditional Northern Soul dance style, though nothing is prescribed, nor proscribed.

Original picture from the 70s "dance-off"
(By Francesco Mellina)"

Most musical forms burn bright and then fade, but Northern Soul merely simmered from its inception and continues to do so, but now amongst a wider band of devotees.  Northern Soul is having a global reassessment and has been found to be good indeed.

If you like dancing without fashion strictures of style, clothing type, peer pressure, an actual dance-partner even, you may find intense pleasure in Northern Soul, but will probably never get to actually own an original disc, such is their rarity then and now.  YouTube and Spotify are your only starting points outside of the United Kingdom.

I'd like to quote some words from a modern Northern Soul devotee, speaking to the BBC, that perfectly express what we originals felt in our time. We can't do the moves anymore, but loyalty and joy burn strong and the music lives on.

Modern Northern Soul - still driven by original tracks

Sally Malloy aka Levanna (above), representing a new generation of fans, said she found a new freedom in Northern Soul, which typically sees people freestyling their own moves while sharing a dancefloor with like-minded individuals

"It's one social dance that's not social at all," she said. "When you're on the dancefloor, you've got no partner, yet you're all united in your own way. And I think that's what makes it so powerful."

"You never know what moves are going to come next and you never know what move you've just done. You're just in that moment, you're so present."

"I think the connection between the movement (of the body) and the music is the spiritual side of it - the music is running through you and it's initiating the next move without you even thinking. You cannot help but move and groove to the music. It's brilliant and it's so unique and completely about you in that moment."

"There's a young scene coming through (the world) - young people in these basements getting sweaty and dancing the night away to soul, in the spirit of Northern Soul. And it's growing",  an example being a gathering of thousand of all ages in the northern town of Bridlington.

Here are some YouTube links to dance styles and music (four-on-the-floor) typical of Northern Soul.

Truism - (about taxation)

Taxation is the the paymaster of society.

We don't like it but we need some

Personal thought - This truism is a dynamic balancing act between total societal conformance or insurrection leading to anarchy. In large(r) populations people want "services" but don't like paying for them. Taxation facilitates services but it is the scale and apparent effectiveness  of taxation that vexes society; too little leads to trouble(s) and too much leads to trouble(s).

The most despised forms of taxation  are those that are manifestly unfair or disproportionately loaded upon tax payers. Let me just say the mega-rich are getting richer as everyone else gets poorer and the national debt is becoming ever deeper because money is wasted or not actually being acquired from those mega-rich individuals or businesses that persistently find ways to not pay any tax at all.

Word of the day - GOBBLEDYGOOK

The word today is Gobbledygook

Gobbledygook is a noun and means the following:

- Words or instruction that seem important or credible but are not

- Words or speech that is unclear, actual nonsense or incomprehensible

- Overly complicated or jargon filled information few can understand

- Information or language rendered by an encryption process

England pronounces Gobbledygook like Gobble-Dee-Gook

The first recorded use of the word gobbledygook was in memo date March 30th 1944, by a Texas politician called Maury Maverick, who got sick of  incomprehensible answers and said he wanted no more "gobbledygook language". Maverick said he made up the word in imitation of turkey noise.

If someone says, "that's gobbledygook" they mean it's rubbish
If you speak gobbledygook people will tend to ignore you
It is said that most politician's speech is often gobbledygook

FOURAS - An ode to Fouras-les-Bains

Here's a poem that wrote itself as I was thinking of its topic.

Fouras is a lovely coastal town in France, with a live link to one of its five beaches, but it is best you know before reading this poem, that in its name the S is silent. It is not FourAS but FourAH.

Plage Sud Quay

Hurrah, hurrah for Fouras
My precious little gem
I found her many years ago
We've been in love since then

Hurrah, hurrah for Fouras
I'll soon see her again
She'll greet me as a friend
Her beauty and charm to lend

Hurrah, hurrah for Fouras
My lovely, lovely friend.

N.B.
Fouras is easily loved and is ideal for lovers of any age. Welcoming and yet charming, a "grande vacance" here will relax, invigorate and induce a state of "l'amore".

WAR (Especially modern warfare)

Through the mists of time,
the shrouded depths of eons past,
come the cries of futility and war,
of fallen men, fallen empires
there is no more.
Through the experience of time nothing is learned,
nothing understood,
war kills, stifles, rots and maims;
there is no good.
A war breeds heroes
hate and vengefulness,
it fractures nations
and cosmopolitan in its progress
becomes more, "Couldn't care less".
War of today in these mists of time
indiscriminate with public to view,

could envelope the world of nations,
families;
me and you.

Feb 17 2022 - Please Mr. Russia do not invade.
                       USA keep your nose out.
                       UK stop pretending you matter.

Feb 21 2022 - Here we go! National military complexes with too much stock?

Jun 08 2023 - Is the USA escalating atrocity or merely de-stocking?
                        Is the USA wrong?

Jun 11 2023 - Ukraine joining Nato is a WW3 trigger.
Pacts such as this started WW1 and WW2.
Still Ukraine want to join NATO

Jun 12 2023 - NATO avoid global repercussion of accepting Ukraine.
Ukraine must know NATO doesn't want their war ...

Sep 11 2023 - Oh no, these Two crackpots are talking - watch out!

Jul 01 2024 - Hungary's prime minister Viktor Orban becomes the rotating president of Europe for 6 months, which will strain relations with Ukraine as he is a known friend of Russia's president, warmonger Vladimir (I always put the boot in) Putin. Orban wants to see a ceasefire and is critical of the wests military aid. My question is why and what is in it for Orban?

Jul 04 2024 - Do real Russians never get to know of  this wanton and flagrant waste?

Nov 18th 2024 - A very important/dangerous decree was made by outgoing US president Joseph Biden, in that he allowed Ukraine to commence firing American made long-range missiles into Russia. His reason seems obscure (to me) other than to leave the incoming teams of Donald (the crazy) Trump some real world problems to tackle, whilst they "Make America Great Again". I think Biden is saying as much to Trump as he is to Putin - you are both as bad as each other, so bring it on! This decision may have some historic significance. Putin of course responded with some familiar nebulous threats and let off an ancient ICBM toward Ukraine, whilst the once proud Russian citizens continue to submit to his lunacy or their role in his "meat grinder vanity war".

Feb 13th 2025 - With a change of  the American president there came a change of  the "official line", which is that Trump wants the Russian war in Ukraine ended, probably because of costs and Trump's desire to look good. Either way, he has set the new agenda, no-matter who does or does not like his approach. Obviously the cessation of any war is good, but I'm pretty sure many Ukrainians feel abandoned to their fate.

Here are links to some of my other war poems:

Here's a poem I came across by an artist called Mark Automaton

SHALLOW GRAVE
The freedoms that we fought so hard to save
Are snatched out of our desperate grasping hands
And buried in an unmarked shallow grave

Despite our struggle, valiant and brave
They slowly seep away like hourglass sands;
These freedoms that we fought so hard to save

So helplessly we faced that tidal wave
And what became of all our hopeful plans?
They're buried in an unmarked shallow grave

The zealots fulminate and rant and rave
They seek to sabotage with their demands
The freedoms that we fought so hard to save

And when they gain the power that they crave
No clemency for any who withstand
Just burial in an unmarked shallow grave

And now we're little more than galley slaves
We blindly follow all of their commands
The freedoms that we fought so hard to save
Lie buried in an unmarked shallow grave

This is weird

I am a user of Facebook, occasionally presented with lists of friend suggestions (240 today!) which I invariably delete, but today I noticed something odd. MI5, MI6, CIA, NSA, MOSSAD, INTERPOL, DCIS,

The majority of those proposed today were from the middle east and either I am being presented with many males suffering facial disfigurement or these people are doctoring their image, to avoid facial recognition software or convey a message or underlying belief(s) - I understand people have multiple Facebook IDs, but these can't all be the same person?

Look at these profile pictures and see what you think ....... Jihad

Netanyahu digs his hole

Benjamin Netanyahu (on/off prime minister of Israel since 1996) is being squeezed as never before because of his apparent desire to dictate policy and to destabilise the whole of the middle east to actually erase Israel's "Palestinian problem", to actually orchestrate a modern day genocide, no matter the cost to international relations, in order to appease internal dissenters whilst hoping the USA doesn't turn into a "frenemy" (as it seemed to be doing) when Israel's first period of grace came to its end, though former President Biden's earlier censure of Israel seems to have been forgotten when he granted an 8 billion dollar export to Israel just prior to his departure; perhaps a reward to Israel for "breaking" Hezbollah, or to shore-up Israel if Iran ever cuts-up rough about the collapse of Syria. This war grinds on and will do so despite international condemnation of Israel's dogmatic tactics, which US president Donald "the crazy" Trump is now seemingly indifferent too. Signs of a peace of sorts seems possible but far off, though Hamas has agreed to a new Gaza ceasefire (again).

South Africa cited Israel for Genocide in Gaza, (which it may come to regret), as did Saudi Arabia. The USA was fast losing diplomatic patience with their "errant child" when Netanyahu stepped out onto very thin ice. Biden at the time decided strong words were not enough and refused to use its veto for a UN Security Council resolution that an immediate ceasefire in Gaza be agreed as Israeli forces continue to destroy humanitarian infrastructure, emphasised by (then) vice president Kamala Harris (who effectively ran the show until Trump won his second term). She met with and told Netanyahu, the Gaza war has to end.  The UK agreed with this sentiment by officially withdrawing their opposition to the International Criminal Court's desire to issue an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu, and suspended arms sales to Israel, an act that Netanyahu said was "shameful" (which seems a bit rich to me).

By rejecting strong signals from the USAthe UK and others, tasking him to get his house in order and stabilise their seemingly never-ending Palestinian "problems", the hubris of Benjamin Netanyahu will be his downfall, for if these two fall-out Israel would indeed look like a little country; Iran would become bolder and Israel would "have to" execute an "overwhelming" response, as is their want. Netanyahu's 4th visit to the US senate neatly underscored the poor state of  their relationship, for whilst he said to the US, "our war is your war" (which it is not), dozens of influential people did not bother to attend. Is the USA beginning to step back from Israel? Possibly distancing US support for military actions that have produced this obscene statistic, which will become worse during Netanyahu's latest plan for Gaza.

The USA put a shot across Israel's bow by reiterating that supplied arms must be used legally and within international law, yet it went "over the top" against Palestinians in pursuit of Hamas in Gaza, causing the Dutch to refuse F-35 parts and many other suppliers to question their role in this, including the UK. The USA has also started to sanction Israeli individuals as a cease and desist policy, though this is proving ineffective

Netanyahu had his warnings that the USA will not stomach his wanton destruction of Gazan citizens, and for a while were overflying Gaza for drops of aid and have constructed a huge floating pier, thereby defying what this apparent despot wants. Having said that the US still offered Israel a $1 billion carrot, no doubt to hold back a domestic stink by powerful and assertive supporters of Israel in the USA.

There is no doubting Netanyahu is a survivor, but his problems are really stacking up as Israel continues to sorely vex it's biggest ally, that has refused to help with retaliatory attacks on Iran because they want Israel to come to its main sponsor's heel; indeed a lever of funding received by Israel has been pulled for an ultra orthodox unit of the Israeli defence forces, ostensibly for human rights violations. Netanyahu rejected these cuts, which was ironic as they are not his by right and he must now keep control of ultra reactionary Zealots under his command, as many are being reported by whistle-blowers for treating detainees very badly.

The USA may wish to tie his hands in order to keep theirs clean and with Trump in control Israel may be tossed to the "dogs"!

Benjamin Netanyahu

Netanyahu, for so long the strongman of Israeli politics, is now being pressured from within Israel and from many "regular" citizens of Israel, as the Gaza war edges beyond conflict into a genocide. His prior attempts at fiddling with their constitution (courts) remains unresolved and very unpopular, with many seeing him as flawed by despotic tendencies and possible corruption, though he may just be espousing his fanatical Zionist political backers. (Do you believe this?)  He is maybe coming to the end of his reign of influence for rejecting the USA is not going to be good for him, regional stability, nor Israel. Internal dissent is being made public, with "his own people" willing to undermine his political standing; some now calling him a danger to Israel as seniors begin to disengage from this every more serious mess. Even those in the Israeli war cabinet are extraditing themselves from Netanyahu's legacy of rampant vengeance or possibly feeling relief as he relieves them of their role(s); he may be working from a bunker soon?

His enduring problem now is that he has put himself between a rock and a very hard place: his rock is his stated and expected commitment to eradicating Hamas (and its sponsorship), whilst his very hard place is that where much of his strategy in Gaza is deemed by many to be a genocide. His apparent "Kill 'em all" approach is the very thing that undermines his global standing, yet any deal with Hamas is not wanted by the influential hard right who are damaging his tenure at the top in Israel, for the survival of Hamas amounts to his own defeat, as would a total breakdown of support from the USA who are currently restricting themselves to words of advice and aid for Palestinians trapped in Gaza. The International Court Of Justice ordered Israel to cease yet there are no signs that Israel is listening, for Netanyahu says there will be no Gaza ceasefire, nor let-up of actions against Lebanon until Israel's uncertain war aims are achieved, even as the United Nations adds Israel and Hamas to the list countries committing violation of children. Netanyahu's policy in Lebanon seems to be twofold: 1) Systematically eliminate key Hezbollah personnel by bombing Lebanon relentlessly, in order to thereby 2) undermine Lebanese succour for Hezbollah and anyone else aspiring to aid/utilise them, such as President Assad of Syria did before his abdication (to Moscow) following the collapse of his Syrian regime. If the new head cannot re-stabilise Syria in the medium term there will be much more turmoil for Israel and the middle east, but this task is seemingly possible given that social stability is now taking root there.

Side Note: Ultra orthodox Jews living in Israel are now deemed eligible for conscription into the Israeli army and as the war in Gaza grinds on their indignation in obvious in their selfish collective protestations. Their religious exemption has been removed and funding for their seminaries suspended, but at last they will be able to "fight" those that their fellow right-wing political brethren seemingly want eradicating. I hope their sincere beliefs will protect them from PTSD and the carnage they are now expected to embark upon, and that battle-hardened troops (some refusing to return to Gaza after r&r) will greet them into their world without any resentment toward their orthodoxy. If lucky enough to hold dual nationality many could possibly scuttle back to their productive studies in another country?

For readers who need a short recap of why Israel started stripping away its good-standing in the world, read this, or for a broader understanding try this.

Final Note: This is where the war is, but I no-longer feel a need to express further thoughts regarding Benjamin Netanyahu, as his policies and the aftershocks from this war will rumble on and spread as such things do when all parties (Israel, Palestinians, Hamas and more recently Lebanon) and Hezbollah and Houthis, always a pain in the arse, are intransigent. (What is Hezbollah?) Any US President wants (global) peace but there's no chance whilst these parties merely want to kill each other (with the malevolent assistance of Iran); Hamas infuriated Israel so much that Netanyahu has grossly ove-reacted in order to sell his "saviour of Israel" mantra, when in fact many in Israel have wanted to see the back of him from before the war, with an enduring "peace" for Israel.  His actions must be manna from heaven for Iran's aspirations in the region, especially so after Israel's attacks upon them,  as must his ICC arrest warrant for war crimes which I genuinely believe Israel will allow, post-war, in order to clean their political slate and keep the USA "onside". He (and Israeli forces) are behaving like a killer in a shopping mall, trying to kill all they can before "the law" arrive in some form to make it all stop. They seem close to their apparent genocidal aims as the last functioning hospital in the whole of Gaza is razed to the ground.

Jews are not a target, Israeli state policy is

I condemn not Jews, nor Jewish individuals anywhere for what is going on in Gaza and Lebanon, for that judgement is reserved for the Israeli state politicians and their principle "driver(s)"; even members of The Board Of Deputies of British Jews appear to agree and Israeli Defence Force reservists publicly voice their distaste of Netanyahu's prosecution of the elimination of Gaza and the genocide there.

We must not forget the meddling of Iran of course, or their options for retaliation upon Israel who killed the head of their Revolutionary Guard and thus gave a de-facto declaration of war between them, later cemented by the USA actually bombing key Iranian sites. If that all goes wrong there will be a regional war. Thanks for reading.

Skin rash?

I was shocked when a doctor told me several years ago that I had Scabies and that it was a notifiable disease (in the UK), meaning I had to cancel Christmas and notify recent contacts!

I thought it was a thing of the past, but not so.

I'd been scratching at an itch on my neck, which soon appeared on an arm and one shin, becoming persistent and concerning, so off I went to the "quack".  He took all of 15 seconds to diagnose Scabies, saying I'd probably picked it up 2-3 weeks previously from someone or shared materials. (towel/sheet/pillow?)

It itches like fury as mites burrow and feed under your skin, depositing their eggs along the way. A prescribed cream kills them, though the process by which your skin exudes them over time itches even more! It was months until my skin went back to normal and I was greatly relieved.

BUT; not all ailments of the skin are as straightforward to diagnose and these days, with the NHS and GP services failing, there must be many people waiting for an accurate diagnosis of what is wrong with their skin, though some do get lucky

That which caused me to search for skin problems recently was finally diagnosed as Cellulitis, but while you wait you may wish to peruse these sites.
